Getting a great review used to mean remembering to ask, digging up your review link, and pasting it into a message. You’ve always been able to create your own custom Shortcut in Leadferno to request a review, but we wanted to make it even easier.
Now it’s one click. We’ve added a star icon to the composer, right alongside emojis, photos, and Shortcuts. Tap it, and a ready-to-send review request drops into your message with your review link already in it.

The star icon inserts a pre-written review request into any conversation. We’ve pre-populated it with a default Google review message (the most popular review site), so there’s nothing to write from scratch, but every word of it is yours to change.
The request lives in your Shortcuts as a System Shortcut, which means you can edit it any time, and your changes stick. If you’ve been building your own review request shortcut all along, nothing is taken away. This is just the faster version, sitting right where you already type.
And it isn’t Google-only. The link can be whatever you want it to be:
One button. Any link.

They tell you how you’re actually doing. Not how you think you’re doing. Patterns in reviews surface the things customers notice but rarely mention to your face.
They drive local search. Review count, review quality, and how recently you’ve been reviewed all feed into where you land in Google’s local results and the map pack. A steady trickle of fresh reviews is the strategy that beats a pile of old ones.
They now feed AI search, too. When someone asks an AI assistant for the best option near them, it’s pulling from the same public signals: your profile, your reviews, what people say in them. Businesses with a healthy, recent review history get surfaced. Businesses without one don’t.
They close deals. Most people read reviews before they call. Your reviews are doing the selling before you ever pick up the phone. if you care at all about conversion, you know that reviews are the social trust prospects needs to take the first step.
The catch is that happy customers rarely think to leave a review on their own. But asking at the right moment, right after the job is done and while you’re already in the conversation, is what turns a good experience into a public one.
That’s it. To change the default wording for good, edit the System Shortcut in your Shortcuts settings. It’s located in the left side menu under Settings > Shortcuts.
If you’re using this for Google reviews, you’ll want the short URL Google generates for your Business Profile. Here’s how to grab it:

Paste it once and you’re done. Every review request you send from then on uses it.
The businesses with the most reviews usually aren’t always the ones with the most customers, they’re the ones who ask every time. Now that’s a single click away.
Open a conversation, look for the star, and send your first request today.
