Designed to save valuable time and streamline workflows, this feature empowers businesses by condensing entire text conversations into concise, digestible summaries—all with a single click or tap.

Summary AI is available on all Leadferno plans with the Pro plan limited to 50 summaries per month. Premium and Enterprise plans offer unlimited use.

Managing multiple customer interactions can become overwhelming, especially when each conversation requires careful review to extract key details. Summary AI solves this challenge by providing an instant overview of the conversation, eliminating the need to scroll through lengthy text threads.

This not only reduces time spent reviewing messages but also enables teams to prioritize tasks, respond quickly, and focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.

How Summary AI works

The magic of Summary AI lies in its simplicity and accuracy. Built on artificial intelligence technology, the feature:

  • Analyzes full conversation threads to understand context and key points.
  • Generates clear, actionable summaries of interactions.
  • Highlights essential details such as customer requests, next steps, and deadlines.

With just one tap, users can transform hours of back-and-forth texting into a quick, actionable summary—ready to be shared with team members or referenced later.

Multiple summary formats

We know that not everyone works the same way. With this in mind we gave Summary AI three output options to structure your summaries the way that works best for your business.

AI settings

Located under Settings in the web app, the AI page contains the three different summary outputs you can use for your Profile.

Talking points – This format produces a one sentence overview of the text thread and then up to five bullet points of the main talking points of the conversation. This is the default summary stlye.

Brief – This format creates a one sentence summary of the text thread.

Expanded – A deeper recap that outputs a two to three sentence summary of the text thread.

You select the format you want for your summaries. This selection is not per summary, but applies account wide when the feature is clicked/tapped.

How to use Summary AI

You can use this feature in two different places in Leaderno. It’s available in the Notes feature as you are engaging with an open conversation or when Closing a thread.

Notes

You can use Summary AI while you are in an open text thread with a customer. It’s located in the Notes feature of the composer. When you click or tap on notes (behind + button on mobile), you will see the “AI Summary” icon in the upper right of the composer field.

Tap the icon and the composer field will show “Generating” letting you know the AI is analyzing the conversation to create the summary.

Once the summary posts, the regenerate icon appears in case you want to create another version of the summary. All AI created summaries can be edited, so feel free to add or remove content before posting the note.

Close

You’ve always been able to add a summary when closing a thread, now you can do it in just one click/tap. When you close a thread (checkmark icon) you can click the “AI” icon to generate the summary.
